Brownies are for girls aged 7 -10 years and being a Brownie is lots of fun and a great way to meet new friends. Meetings are full of indoor and outdoor challenges, games and activities many ones that the Brownies have suggested themselves. The girls can work towards achieving badges in a wide range of topics including fire safety, booklover, swimming, first aid and many more.
In Brownies, the girls begin to work in teams where, through a structured programme, learn new skills and develop their talents.
Brownies are part of Girlguiding UK, the largest voluntary organisation in the country for girls and young women.
